"Thank you for all your kindnesses making our 58th wedding anniversary so special, your hard work ...and the extra you did to make my stay more enjoyable. Yes, your ad states “This is the place to make you better, so you can go back home and continue getting well!” How true! God Bless you all for everything you continue to do..." B.J.M., Moline, IL

"What can we say except thank you for all the wonderful care ... received at Rosewood. It seems so inadequate. Such wonderful caring people. I know I couldn’t have done all that at home by myself. We are so grateful to all of you. You’ve given us our life back..." H & R.S., Edwardsville, IL

"Thank you for the opportunity to tell you how much we appreciate the kind and helpful care that I received while I stayed at Rosewood. My family and I will be happy to recommend Rosewood to our family and friends." D.H., Swansea, IL

Rosewood Care Center administrator Kathy Seeforth won the free use of a 52-inch HD RCA television from www.DeliveringQC.com, but decided to let residents enjoy it, instead of setting it up at home for her husband to enjoy the NCAA tournament. It was part of a March Madness promotion. Ms. Seeforth and staff members said the residents love the new TV. The center is located at 7300 34th Ave., Moline.

MOLINE -- Give Rosewood Care Center administrator Kathy Seeforth credit for a "big" assist in this year's NCAA tournament.

Ms. Seeforth won a free month's use of a 52-inch RCA HD television, but gave it instead to residents of the Moline center.

"I thought they'd benefit more from it than just my husband," she said. "And trust me, I wouldn't have been watching basketball on it."

Her Netflix movies might have looked better on the bigger screen, but the residents' happiness meant more to her.

And her husband, Michael Seeforth, didn't suffer a bit. He's been watching the games on their 27-inch flat-panel TV.

Winning the free month's rental of the larger television surprised Ms. Seeforth.

"When they told me I had won, I asked `Is this for real?' "

The prize from Aaron's Sales and Lease, of Moline, valued at about $100, was a promotion from www.DeliveringQC.com, a subscriber loyalty site of The Moline Dispatch Publishing Co., publishers of The Dispatch and The Rock Island Argus.

"We use the site as a way to give something back to our subscribers," site administrator and manager Zack Wenthe said. "We like to give them something extra as a thank you."

Ms. Seeforth felt the same way toward Rosewood residents.

"When she told me she wanted it to go to Rosewood, I thought that was great," Mr. Wenthe said.

Jim Petersen at Aaron's agreed.

"It meant that more people would get to see and enjoy it, and it meant more exposure for Aaron's," he said.

"I just want to thank The Dispatch for the opportunity to make our residents happy," Ms. Seeforth said. "Now, if only we could keep it."
